As supply chain woes continue to disrupt business as we know it, one mid-Atlantic state is creating a resiliency program to enable local manufacturers to withstand the challenges of record-long backlogs at ports, and shortages of truck drivers and factory employees.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan’s program is intended to provide educational opportunities, as well as help with crisis management and risk mitigation. If one of the state’s slogans — America in Miniature” — is on point, it will be interesting to see how programs like this one can play out on the national stage.
